Budget Friendly DIY Ideas

Home improvement is an ongoing and continuous process, sometimes we have lots of ideas, other times we don’t have any ideas at all. Fortunately, inspiration is still for free. Can’t say the same for some of the home accessories out there though, people are paying crazy money for light fixtures or natural material art pieces.

There are some DIY, budget friendly design options that rival the best factory products on the market, chances are what you make at home will last longer than any factory made product. Take for instance, a homemade, hemp lamp. Nope, it’s not a tongue twister it’s the real thing and you can make it at home with next to nothing efforts and money. The only problem with the construction of the hemp lamp is that it does create some mess around the room.

If you rather make the mess than clean it then get yourself some pro cleaning Sydenham is serviced by some very crafty cleaning companies, they work only with smart, friendly cleaners in Sydenham local listings will help you find cleaners that will assist you properly. Now to shed some light on that hemp lamp – get yourself a bouncy ball, any size will do, get some hemp string and clear dry tacky glue, it is recommended to use gloves throughout the whole process as things will get messy. Wrap hemp string around the bouncy ball, wrap it well from each side so that an even hemp coating is achieved on all sides of the ball – don’t forget to leave some room down the bottom for the actual light bulb and socket.

Keep in mind though, that any size bouncy ball is OK, but it has to be sufficiently large as light bulb will become hot when in use and you don’t want to set your hemp lamp shade on fire now, do you. A hemp lamp is a cheap yet very original design piece for your home, you can make the lamp any size or shape pretty much – good for your pocket, good for your home.
