Cleaning Red Wine Stain in a Restaurant

Having dinner with red wine is a classic. But red wine is very dangerous drink especially if you are wearing something white. Sometimes people spill some wine on them selves and in most cases people throw away the cloth because they think that the stain can't be removed. When you stain a white cloth in most cases people panic and do not act toward the problem.

Cleaning SW3 a red wine stain from white clothes is not impossible, but to remove it completely there are some guidelines people should follow. After all we don't want to leave traces of our embarrassment. The key to a successful removal is, when you spill the wine, act quickly and treat the stain.

First step is to blot the stain with a clean cloth, next step is to put some water on the stain and continue blotting until the stain is lifted. There are plenty of liquids to use in the restaurant for example. If you happen to have a white wine near you, spill some on the stain directly and then let the washing machine do the rest. White wine always neutralises red wine, if there is none, use the vinegar on the table as a cleaning solution but don't forget to blot. Scrubbing will only make the stain worse and you wont be able to get it out.

Another way for cleaning SW3 is to put salt or baking soda directly on the stain when It is wet. It makes it easier to blot after that, simply put the salt or the soda away from the stain and blot with a moist towel until the stain is gone.

Finally when the stain is gone, go and have another glass of wine. All that stress from the stain can ruin your evening.
